For you, for me, having horses in our lives is a must. It’s non-negotiable. In whichever capacity that takes, we celebrate the gift of sharing our lives with the most magical animal that exists. No matter how the horse interfaces in our lives or what discipline we ride, feeling competent and skillful is essential to our success.

I have always felt like an outsider peering in yet I thrive on engaging with other humans and helping fellow horse people find new inroads through the obstacles that block their goals. Through decades of experience I have learned that the most powerful outcomes are a byproduct of likeminded folks finding each other, giving each other the respect and consideration to be heard and the grace to adjust our plans accordingly.

At A Squared Equestrian, I take a bespoke approach to all aspects of our relationship with the horses. That is to say we can support and enhance more aspects of our horses day to day health and happiness than one-size-fits-all facilities and programs. Additionally, the humans benefit from being heard and knowing we can adapt and make the inherent pressures of training more navigable.I acknowledge that I wouldn’t be here, doing this, without the well informed people in my professional and social lineage.

I’m Amy Lyn Jones, owner of A Squared.

I’m glad youre here.

“I have been working with horses my entire life, competing in both hunters and jumpers; I am now a burgeoning professional trainer. When I first rode with Amy a few years ago, I didn’t have any particular troubles at that time that I knew of. In the first 5 minutes of the lesson it felt like she had known me and my horse for years and knew exactly what we needed. Even after years of experience with my mare and with other trainers, I had many eye opening moments during that lesson.”
